SPACAR project training in Riga, Latvia

On September 21-23, training for project partners took place at Riga Technical University in Latvia. All project partners took part in the training, except for the representatives of Warsaw Technical University. They participated remotely.
Liudas Ubarevičius, a representative of the information technology company SneakyBox, explained how the AR 3D object visualization app can be used in the educational process, demonstrated its technical capabilities and functionality. The training addressed the problems encountered by the project partners in testing this app.
During the meeting in Riga, the learning materials which were prepared by the project partners P2 (Riga Technical University), P3 (Warsaw Technical University) and P4 (Polytechnic University of Valencia) and adjusted according to the comments and recommendations provided by the experts during testing were reviewed and discussed. The final dates for the revision of the methodological material have been approved, after which the translation of the prepared tasks into the national languages of the partner countries will start.
During the training, a lecture was organised for students of Riga Technical University. Manuel Contero, a professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, spoke about augmented reality technology and its applications.
At the end of the partners' meeting, organisational issues were also discussed, including the upcoming meeting in Valencia, financial statements.
